At MINExpo 2024, Northern Light Technologies (NLT) will be celebrating 40 years of innovation by introducing a state-of-the-art new “Smart” Cap Lamp and showcasing a complete line of the world’s brightest and most versatile cap lamps, as well as a few surprises.
NLT was the first company to integrate a tracking tag into a cap lamp. Today, we have trusted partnerships with the industry’s leading tracking and proximity solution providers – including Ambra, AeroScout, Aristaflow, Meglab, Mobilaris, MS4M, NLT Digital, Strata, Newtrax and Safecomm – to incorporate tracking and/or proximity tags into our cap lamps.
At this year’s MINExpo, NLT will unveil Aries, the world’s smallest, brightest and most versatile Smart Cap Lamp, which features NLT’s unique Dual-Beam technology. In addition to spot and flood LEDs, Aries will have two color LEDs that solution providers with bi-directional capabilities can flash to communicate messages or signal an alarm. Able to accommodate any of our partner’s tags currently installed in NLT’s Smart Lamps, Aries will allow OTA (over-the-air) programming and software updates. The lamp also has a customizable button located on the front of the lamp that can initiate or acknowledge a signal.
