Business Development Manager – NLT Network Solutions – Canada
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Representative with a proven ability to drive new business and manage client relationships. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of successful outside sales experience selling to the mining and tunneling industry, preferably in technology or network infrastructure solutions. This remote role requires a hunter mentality, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a consultative sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities with mining and industrial clients.
- Conduct on-site visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
- Collaborate with internal teams for solution design, implementation, and post-sales support.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide regular pipeline updates.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience selling to the mining and tunneling clients with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Experience selling network equipment, connectivity solutions, or related technology is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Ethernet, Wi-Fi, fiber optic systems, and IoT applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational and time management skills.
- Computer savvy with proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Post-secondary education preferred.
