NLT LightSync

Visual Alert & Safety Lighting System

Highlights

LightSync is an intelligent lighting-based alert system built to improve awareness and response in mining and other demanding industrial environments. Using programmable RGBW lighting and high-visibility alert patterns, it helps communicate hazards, emergency conditions, evacuation states and operating status in places where audible alerts may be missed.

Consisting of a network of addressable light fixtures (pucks), LightSync can be installed throughout tunnels or industrial areas. The fixtures can be grouped by zone and activated individually or across an entire site to deliver clear, immediate visual messaging.

The system runs on an Ethernet-based control infrastructure. A PoE-powered controller manages each fixture string, while a browser-based application gives operators a central point for status monitoring, alert activation and lighting control. The platform can also tie into existing emergency or mass notification systems so preset lighting behaviors can launch automatically when outside alarms are triggered.

Key Benefits
  • Improves situational awareness
Delivers bright, color-coded visual cues that support faster recognition of hazards, emergencies and changing site conditions in loud or low-visibility environments.
  • Networked and scalable
Supports controller-based deployment with centralized software, making it possible to manage local zones or wider facility responses from one interface.
  • Flexible alert behavior
Supports RGBW output and multiple programmable lighting effects, including steady illumination, flashing sequences and dynamic chase patterns that can align with site-specific protocols.
  • Built for harsh conditions
Fixtures use rugged IP67-rated construction suited for underground and industrial use, and daisy-chain installation helps simplify field deployment.
